Theatre Philadelphia kicks off our new professional development series for artists and administrators! We're sharing best practices from marketing and communications from a variety of business sectors, and learning how to apply it to our work in theatre.
First up, we're gathering social media influencers and communications professionals to discuss building a brand through social and leveraging a strong following to take action off-line. Panelists will share their best practices, success stories, and tips that our theatre community can apply to building and engaging audiences. We'll begin the morning with ample coffee and treats to get us started!
Moderator: Emma Fried-Cassorla, Philly Love Notes and the Delaware River Waterfront Corporation.
Conrad Benner, Streets Dept
Kathleen Celano, Brownstein Group
Peter Marshall, Foxy Grandpa
Nicole Woods, Independence Visitors Center
Session wrap-up led by Robert Smythe, artist and arts marketing consultant
While we designed this event with theatre marketers in mind, this is a great opportunity for artists, students, creative professionals, and business-types of all kinds to learn from our local leaders in social media. Along with a panel discussion, we'll have time for networking and defining action steps you can implement as soon as you get back to your desk.
