IMPORTANT COVID-19 INFORMATION
In order to keep this event and our community as safe as possible, ALL attendees must take an antigen test (also known as a rapid/at-home test) within 24 hours before the event, and submit proof of a negative test result. Masks are optional but encouraged. This policy applies to all attendees regardless of vaccination status. Failure to provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test will result in not being admitted to the event.
Proof of a negative test result should be submitted between Sunday, October 27th and Monday, October 28th before your arrival at the ceremony.
Please use this form to submit your test result: https://forms.gle/BARy3FhfSF2mmR4x9
If you have any technical issues with submitting a picture of your test results using the form, you can email it to [email protected].
IMPORTANT TRANSPORTATION INFORMATION
On Monday, October 28th 2024, former President Barack Obama and Bruce Springsteen will hold a rally at the Liacouras Center. This was announced yesterday afternoon.
Due to the event, traffic is expected in and around Temple's campus, including the Temple Performing Arts Center where the 2024 Barrymore Awards Ceremony will be held. Streets and parking around campus may experience higher than normal volume for the entire day. Montgomery Avenue from 16th Street to Broad Street may be closed and there could be other temporary closures throughout campus.
We therefore highly encourage limiting additional car traffic to and from Temple Performing Arts Center. Here are some alternatives:
1. Public Transit: TPAC is located 2 blocks away from the Cecil B. Moore station.
- All local trains on the Broad Street Line subway stop at Cecil B. Moore station
- Bus Routes #4 and #16 make regular stops along Broad Street at Montgomery Ave., Polett Walk, and Norris St.
- Bus Route #23S stops at 12th St. & Polett Walk and #23N stops at 11th St. & Berks St.
- Regional Rail service stops at Temple Universtiy Station on Berks Street between 9th & 10th Streets
2. Using a ride sharing service such as Lyft, Uber, etc. We have created a discount code for Lyft, for $5 off rides to and from TPAC, code BARRYMORES24 (note: rides must have a pick-up or drop-off within a 0.5 mile radius of TPAC, and we have a limited number of uses for the night)
3. If you'd rather watch the digital live-stream than attend in-person, send me an email at [email protected] and I will exchange your ticket for a digital one! Information about the digital stream can be found here: https://theatre-philadelphia.ticketleap.com/digital-livestream-2024-barrymore-awards-ceremony/
We thank you for your patience as we navigate this last-minute change (election season, right?), and can't wait to see you at the Barrymore's!
